So as everyone has heard...one of the GREATEST musicians of all time as well as one of the biggest female icons both passed away so tragically. Before we could even begin to mourn the loss of one, another one goes...

I didn't believe it when I got the text from a friend of mine. This was even before the news had updated their websites. They just said he was in a coma. It's amazing how that kind of news always can make a sunny day seem dark. It actually rained hard today where I was driving oddly enough...

Forget all allegations or whatever you thought of him. He was an AMAZING artist. I remember growing up watching the REAL MTV and either seeing him or madonna on His voice and his dancing moves...always loved dancing with MJ Thriller still haunts me haha I was soooo scared of the part when he transforms. *shivers* but loved the dancing numbers. And the cool trippy music video to "Black or White" and "Scream" (later on). Billie Jean is still my favorite song.

As my friend Zimmette said, "He is the Elvis of our generation". and as FOX news reported, "He will be mourned much like Princess Di was."

I'm sorry that I could not give Ed McMahon and Farrah Fawcett the same amount of respect and praise. I know Ed was a swell guy, very upstanding and funny, and his example of selflessness of going to war voluntarily twice is something we should all taken in and respect him for. Farrah was still just as beautiful as she ever was. I really hope her documentary helps people struggling with cancer as she intended. I hope it encourages those who need it, and teaches us all that our lives are so very short. We need to live our lives in service to others and to better this world.

RIP Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett, and Michael Jackson...the 3's theory continues...
