Hello!

So I took a HUGE hiatus on here and updating for a lack of time and will power. I really haven't needed a DA since I made my site...but even then it was a lack of motivation for actually updating this thing. I was even considering just letting my subscription run out. Then I thought about it...sure I have my site, but this is a whole other outlet for my art. I've been with DA for so long it only seems fair I keep it going. I've met some really good people on here who inspire and encourage me to keep going, keep pushing farther, keep developing my style. So I decided I'd try another year here to see if I could motivate myself to work better. This weekend I plan on revealing some stuff that's been sucking up all my time. to all of you who are still on here and follow, I appreciate your patience and I'm excited to show you what's to come! I know I've been saying for a long time that I'd be posting stuff and haven't...but I realize that despite what's going on in my life or whatever things I may be struggling with, I always have time for art. <3 Hard lesson learned let me tell you...but Oh so worth it!!

So without further ado I encourage you all to check out my page after this weekend. I'm going to try my hardest to get new stuff up and clean out old junk. It's a "new year" or new season mind you. The cold will keep me indoors and before I get cabin fever...I will post the new things I've been blessed to work on. 2010 has been an AMAZING year full of growth and heartache...but full of fun times indeed. I am truly blessed indeed.

So I have TON of stuff to post....haha I brought home my work portfolio to post new stuff on my website...so I figured I should post stuff here since I haven't yet...lol!

So this weekend (hopefully) I'll get some new stuff posted! I've got a TON of graphic design stuff and hopefully an animation soon!

Yes dolls and gents!! I have finally build savvypirate.com up to a level in which I can present it to the world. ^_~ I will be working on the flash version when I get some time (and patience) lol but I plan to have a full interactive website one of these years...haha!

Hey everyone!! First of a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS to you!! <3 I hope you had a splendid Christmas full of family, friends, food, and fun times! I sure did!

So as most of you I'm sure have been thru a lot I'm glad this year is coming to a close. It's been a long year of craziness...mostly bad, but some really great things have happened as well. I won't go into it, but I hope that you've at least made the best with what you had this year, and I hope you have a terrific new year! I'm definitely going to try and stop being so pessimistic...silly world...you can't get me down! Not anymore!

I'm definitely needing a fresh start...what better way to celebrate than with my cousins on a road trip! Yes we are leaving the state to go have a short getaway roadtrip...we'll see what happens...I'm sure pictures will be posted sometime haha!

As for artwork...I've been currently addicted to Batman: Arkham Asylum so...no drawing as of yet! But!! I have plenty of inspiration thanks to some friends of mine...hopefully to start up a comic or maybe even dare I say it...an animation *gasp* Yes!! I said it!! I want to start animating again...so here's to inspiration, a fresh mind, and a new year!!

Hey there! It's been a while since I've last updated this place. I've been a busy girl!

I'm not quite where I want to be but I'm getting there. There are many big changes going on in my life and I'm really excited!

I started the South Beach diet with my Mum last week and we are on DAY 7!! Oye! Who would have thought it would be so hard to cut out all bread and fruit from your diet for two weeks! I've had to be very creative on my meals...even mixing the most bizarre of things. I've learned that ricotta cheese is better with everything except lasagna...I can't stand ricotta cheese in lasagna...gives it a weird texture...but it's great when making a dessert...lol!

Today we had SNOW!! It's amazing!! Kind of scary today tho. It woke me up that's how bad the wind was. According to some friends on fb there was lightning and thunder and hail/sleet. Crazy stuff you'd swear we had a tornado! O.o;; I hope not...I've had my fair share of crazy storms but only had one tornado and it was the scariest thing...never want to go through that again.

Oh and I've FINALLY worked on my site! I'll be unveiling it later... Also I'll have a pretty big announcement hopefully after Friday...but we'll see about that too.

Anywho just writing to pass the time....I'm on hold right now lol! I hope you are all well! Please take care and watch out for the weather wherever you are! I'll be posting new work soon. Ja!
